The iici is committed to promoting the highest level of professional standards in the image industry. We have developed a broad range of ethics and standards for our members in Ireland. The Institute delivers excellent, cost-effective educational opportunities for its members to the highest international quality.

Membership of iici will elevate your credibility as an image expert, which helps to build your business. The iici aims to regulate industry standards through a rigorous assessment and entrance program.

Being a member of the iici is a way of communicating to clients, employers, and the general public that you have achieved certain standards in your industry and that you keep abreast of current thinking and technical knowledge. All members must participate in a Continual Professional Development program in order to keep membership valid.

The iici welcome members who have completed an accredited image & styling certificate or its equivalent as associate members. Full membership is awarded to consultants who in addition to completing an accredited training course have a minimum of 2 years experience. Full membership can be applied for on submission of work experience and CPD attendance. Members at all levels are obliged to adhere to our Charter and Code of Ethics and Professional Development Programme. After considerable years and experience, a full member can be awarded a fellowship of the Institute.
